BS Budwal’s Philosophy –

The health nutritionist believes that fad diets come and go. Therefore, designing a diet plan after careful studying of genetics, lifestyle habits, and regional eating styles is very important for long-term well-being. The diet is based on healthy, home-cooked meals. (Home-cooked food) Several national & international research shows that local, seasonal home-cooked meals are a great source of nutrition as you’re in control of the ingredients and their amount & quality. The process of cooking a meal puts you in tune with the food you’re going to put into your body. It helps you to become mindful & stimulate your brain. BS Budwal emphasises home-cooked meals to unlock wellness.

What to expect from a nutrition appointment? In a first meet, we will talk about your expectations and goals, your lifestyle, eating habits and preferences. There will be a physical assessment and diagnoses made by both parties, we will decide together the way forward, which can range from nutritional education, counselling & even the guidance of a personalized meal plan for you. Subsequent consultations monitor progress on the way to achieving the goals and build capacity to make the right food choices.

The food I design in my nutrition plans have to do with your Genetics & Regional eating; i.e., staying with Indian home cooking food & saying no to all kind of fad diets. And yes I strongly state; centuries old food created by our ancestor’s, does carry science & logic.

If you want to change your body composition (lose weight, gain muscle mass, athletic requirement), or have adequate nutrition for a state of health (diabetes, high blood pressure, allergies, PCOD, PCOS); or specific situations in the life cycle (pregnancy, childhood, old age); or simply learning to eat healthier, consulting a nutritionist is essential.
